Kiriakos Simon Mountakis

Born in Chania, Crete, Kiriakos Simon Mountakis graduated in 2010 from the Electronic & Computer Engineering faculty, Technical University of Crete (TUC).

In 2013 he obtained an MSc in Computer Science (specializing in software engineering) from the Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) faculty, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). His MSc research was part of the Rolling-Stock Life-Cycle Logistics applied R&D program, funded by the Dutch railways and focusing on stochastic project scheduling algorithms. By Spring of 2018 he is expected to obtain his PhD on the same topic.

His research interests include various combinatorial optimization problems in Artificial Intelligence and Operational Research with an emphasis on Simple Temporal Problems and (stochastic) resource-constrained scheduling; various network-flow problems; mathematical programming.
